From Dream to Reality

Mabuhai Sands began in 2014 when the Dela Cruz family transformed a modest stretch of coastline in El Nido into a haven for travellers seeking authentic island life. What started as a small guesthouse with just six rooms has flourished into a beloved 24-room beachfront hotel.

The name "Mabuhai" comes from the Filipino word "mabuhay," meaning "welcome" or "long live" — a greeting that captures the warmth and hospitality at the heart of everything we do.

Three generations of the Dela Cruz family now work together to ensure every guest experiences the genuine Filipino spirit of bayanihan — community and togetherness.
